The hormonal profile is intended for people of childbearing age. The examination should be performed on the 2nd day of the menstrual cycle. In addition to sex hormones (estradiol, progesterone), it contains the regulatory hormones of the pituitary gland (follicle-stimulating and luteinizing hormone) and prolactin and the values of male sex hormones (free testosterone). In case of uneven values, a consultation with a gynecologist is then appropriate. Sampling is carried out according to your cycle -> 1st collection - 1. -3. Cycle Day / 2nd collection - approx. 14th day of the cycle.

The Food Intolerance Package - food IgE is intended as a screening test for suspected food allergy. It involves the determination of basic blood parameters that indicate the presence of an allergy - a blood count with the number of eosinophils, total IgE and specific IgE against 287 types of food. As these are blood tests, the timing of the test is crucial - ideally between 6 weeks and 3 months after symptoms have subsided. This blood test is suitable as an initial examination of people who, after consuming certain foods, observe digestive or skin problems, breathing problems, but also general fatigue, swelling, joint pain or nerve problems, manifesting as headaches, lack of concentration, sleep disorders or dizziness.

This test package aims to determine the specific IgG response to all food allergens that our current medicine can reliably detect. These are different sampling materials, so the results of the examination may not be comparable and they also differ in interpretation. Patients are advised to use the same collection system (venous / capillary blood) for re-examination. The intrigue of the IgG response to food is its delay. It often manifests itself several hours to days, in some cases up to weeks after eating a problem food, so it may not be associated with health problems at all. This delay is also due to the fact that IgG food allergy is characterized by mild inflammation, which becomes symptomatic only when it progresses to the chronic stage, which occurs after repeated long-term intake of problematic food, about 2-3 times a week (cumulative effect).
